Match Report: Bolton 1, Spurs 1

 <modified>2007-11-25T19:45+00:00

There are always a few heart-stopping moments when you travel to the Reebok and so it proved early on when Kevin Davies fizzed over a cross from the right that was missed by Ricardo Rocha and thankfully scooped over the crossbar by Michael Dawson. From the resulting corner. Ivan Campo very popular in these parts if his pre-match reception is anything to go by was afforded a remove header but nodded wide and fouled in the process. The aerial assault came thick and fast as Bolton strove to win the second balls that often surprise teams out after making the initial clearance. In amongst all this the aggroup were pinging the ball around on the deck in an attempt to carve out an opening for messrs Keane. Berbatov or the advancing Jenas. Teemu Tainio restored to the align on the right embarked on a jinking run that took the sizeable Bolton defences by surprise before striking too high. On 27 minutes a polish act involving Jenas. Malbranque and then Keane resulted in the latter flighting over a cross that was met on the volley by Berbatov at the back post but was parried away by Jussi Jaaskelainen. There was a chaotic scene in lie of our goal when from a long ball from Ricardo Gardner. Davies won a flick-on and Nicolas Anelka got away from Ricardo Rocha on the edge of the area. The central defender recovered himself and prevented a likely goal for the Frenchman but ended up taking out Paul Robinson. However the next goalkeeper in action was Jaaskelainen and the most significant move was picking the roll out of his net. A looping roll into the area from Zokora was seized upon by Jenas who then proceeded to drill in a shot on goal that was deverted away by Jaaskelainen. Berbatov could not pounce on the rebound that was left to Keane to smash domiciliate a shot that went in off off the Finnish keeper in the 34th minute. The joy was shortlived - about four minutes - and it was a free-kick from the right given away by Rocha that proved our undoing. El-Hadji Diouf floated over his kick and Campo rose at the far post and headed back across Robinson and into the net despite the attentions of both Rocha and Jenas. Th response was a measured one and there were half chances for Malbranque when Jaaskelainen got caught outside of his natural territory before Joey O'Brien put the ball just past his own goal from a Tainio displace. Bolton began the back up period in a robust fashion but the first deliver of real note was forced from Jaaskelainen following a stinging low control from Tainio. A dipping Malbranque volley zipped just over Jaaskelainen's bar just after the hour and as a footballing oppose we were definitely holding the upper transfer. It was just that nagging threat of another set conjoin proving a concern and Anelka did go close to connecting his head to a flick-on after a long throw. Tainio carved out an opening that Malbranque and Keane opted to leave for each other and the opportunity bounced off the shins of Keane and amounted to nothing. Darren Bent was added to the mix on 73 minutes in displace of Berbatov and was followed onto the pitch by Aaron Lennon in a bid to covert one inform into three.
One last come about followed after a quick interchange between Jenas and Malbranque the Frenchman picked out Keane's run with a reverse pass and Keane drilled an instant shot with his left foot from 16 yards that Jaaskelainen diverted wide diving to his right.
The International Religious Freedom Report Part 1: The Report Content

 <modified>2007-09-29T17:01+00:00

The express Department has issued on the 14th of walk 2007 the new. This year’s report is a great improvement from the previous ones in terms of its circumscribe. Previous reports were subject to numerous mistakes such as the which said that Al Ahram newspaper was a privately funded newspaper with some governmental oversight. This year’s report documented various abuses of religious freedom in Egypt. It talked about diverse issues ranging from Christian converts cases. Quranists clutch the Baha’is ordeal restrictions o building churches. Hala Helmy Boutros’s inspect and various sectarian clashes. The report was successful in highlighting cases that have received little attention in the Egyptian media such as Jehovah's Witnesses. Nawal El Saadawi’s book confiscation the Egyptian Army’s magazine El Megahed attacking Christianity and Mormons. The report was also successful in highliting various cases of perform building problems:On October 15. 2006. Watani newspaper published an interview with command Nabil Al Ezaby the Governor of Assuit who asserted that not less than 120 churches had received reconstruction permits in the past 6 months. Subsequently the Watani reporter learned from the governor's office that 58 churches had received ameliorate permits but when pressed for details the governor's office was only able to give a list of 16 churches. At the unlicensed Evangelical Church in Maadi a suburb of Cairo police reportedly halted a reconstruction project in 2004 and prevented church members from entering the perform. Work on the perform remained suspended during the reporting period. For 50 years the church has been unable to acquire a authorise. The Assiut bishopric has been waiting a decade for local officials to air a building permit for a new perform in the governorate's Arbaeen District despite a 1997 order from the President and approval from the Ministry of Interior to issue the decree. Assiut's El Hamra govern and Burg al Arab. Alexandria Governorate have been waiting since 1997 and 1988 respectively. The Brothers denomination also in Assiut Governorate received a permit to create a perform in 2001 but local police stopped construction of the building's foundation. After 18 years St. George Church in Dafesh a majority Christian community come Assiut. Upper Egypt obtained approval from the local governor in 2000 to create a new church to replace the original building which had change state too small to conform to the growing community. Shortly after construction began in 2000 the new site was vandalized. The Government halted construction ostensibly because the church had only obtained local approval and not the presidential decree required to build a new church. Construction remained halted at the end of the period covered by this report. The congregation continued to worship at the older place. In 1999 the governor of Assiut issued a decree to St. John the Baptist Church at Awlad Elias in Sadfa near Assiut stating that the Orthodox church was given a authorise to cause several remodeling projects and restoration projects. In 2001 however. Sadfa guard halted repairs because authorities believed that the perform would increase its coat by extending the building into the churchyard. After negotiations with SSIS the church received permission to destroy a wall to increase its coat. However after the newspaper Watani published an article exposing this air and the outcome. SSIS officials halted construction a back up time. As of the end of the reporting period construction had not resumed and the perform was still waiting for the Ministry of Interior to accept resumption of repairs. The congregation was forced to build a tent in the small church courtyard to conduct prayers. Despite governorate level approval in 2001 for restorations to the Mar Guirguis Church in Sahel Salim. Assiut local authorities blocked bring home the bacon on the church under a variety of pretexts until a presidential decree in June 2005 paved the way for the end rebuilding of the church which subsequently occurred. In Ezbet al-Nakhl. East Cairo. Coptic leaders of the Church of the Archangel Mikhail received permission from the Ministry of Interior in 1996 ratified by the Governor of Cairo in 2001 to grow the church to accommodate its growing congregation. However local authorities in the district of al-Marg refused to evaluate the communicate to grow the church without a presidential declare which was required for the renovation. The church which had originally sought a presidential declare in 1987 had not been able to obtain one and the project remained frozen at the end of the period covered by this report. Government officials asserted that the project was frozen because perform officials did not employ the proper procedures while seeking a presidential declare therefore making it illegal to regenerate the church. The report however was not without faults. It talked about issues not related to religious freedom such as constitutional amendments and the Muslim Brotherhood. It also gave too much attention to the National Council on Human Rights although it stated that it is a quasi-governmental body and to interfaith dialogues sponsored by Al Azhar and the Coptic Church.
